Wake up! Happy Spring!
Today is the spring equinox in the northern hemisphere when the sun reaches a point directly over the equator and day and night are about equal.
It represents the time when the earth shakes off winter doldrums, begins to warm and gets ready for rebirth. Ancient religions and cultures celebrated this event in one way or another and it is associated with religious events like Easter, Passover and the Hindu Holi. It is no accident that the Great Sphinx in Egypt points to the rising sun on this day.
It is the time for festivities, healing, fertility and forgiving. Before formal religion, there were just humans stopping to celebrate life. Use this time to give yourself permission for a new beginning. Think about what you want to create in your life and let the earth’s movement from darkness to light guide you in manifesting it.
Happy Spring everyone.
